The beautiful American Heritage Harvest Table by John Boos is sure to be a conversation starter in the kitchen. Its heirloom look and feel comes from a butcher block top made of 4-inch thick, solid end-grain Northern hard rock maple. The top is set upon an ornate base with four round legs and two slatted wood shelves, perfect for keeping your favorite cookware and kitchen implements close at hand. It also comes with three wicker baskets that add handy storage space as well as charm.
The base of this French kitchen island can be customized in a variety of finishes to reflect your kitchen's personality. For a classic wood look, we offer a natural maple, warm cherry, or a useful gray stain. To add some personality and a splash of color to your cooking space, consider a base in sporty blue, barn red, eggplant, tangerine, or apple green. There are also more subdued paint tones including caviar black, alabaster, buttercup yellow or sage green. Choose the color that's right for you using the drop down option above.
No matter which base finish you decide, you will fall in love with your American Heritage Harvest Table as soon as it arrives. Built to last a lifetime, this is one piece of furniture you're sure to pass down for generations to come.

John Boos & Co. is firmly committed to managing environmental matters as an integral part of their business practice. Some of the steps they take to accomplish their "green" status include manufacturing wood products that emit far less carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, methane and other gases than processing non-wood substitutes; using only formaldehyde free and low emission formaldehyde gluing processes in manufacturing our butcher blocks; and having active recycling programs in place with 95% of all raw materials, scrap, and even their sawdust recycled as fuel to heat their kilns. Boos' sawdust is also recycled as livestock bedding for their local agricultural needs.
