The 1.75 inch thick hard rock maple top features edge grain construction coated with the standard Boos Block Cream Finish with Beeswax. The Boos block cream penetrates deeply into the grains of the wood, leaving a silky wax barrier to lock moisture in, and allows your board to be used as a cutting surface. The base and legs are available in many beautiful finishes, allowing the user to match the Classic Country Work Table to his or her unique decor. Optional items - such as slatted lower shelves, a utensil drawer and wicker baskets increase storage and display options for the active yet style-minded chef. This kitchen island table can also be ordered with locking caster wheels, which let you move it freely to a desired location and keep it securely in place when positioned.
