The 4-inch tapered coved backsplash prevents cutting debris from falling to the floor, easing the clean-up process. A slatted lower wood shelf is ideal for storing frequently used cooking supplies and wicker basket drawers can be added to create more storage space (when adding optional baskets, please note that the 36 x 24 size only comes with one wicker basket, though all other sizes come with two). The surface is featured with the standard Boos Block Cream Finish with Beeswax, to seal and protect the wood. The Boos block cream penetrates deeply into the grains of the wood, leaving a silky wax barrier to lock moisture in, and allows your board to be used as a cutting surface. This finish can be maintained with John Boos Mystery Oil or Boos Board Cream. At 36 inches high, this handsome piece is an ideal height for food preparation.
